Celebrating the 2025 Women in Civil Mentoring Program Graduates

November 26, 2025 · Events

Congratulations to our 2025 Women in Civil Mentoring Program graduates, who now join our growing alumni community of more than 170 participants.

The intimate celebration and networking lunch was held at Angelo’s Cabarita (on 19 November 2025), where graduates enjoyed a relaxed waterfront setting, delicious cuisine, and the chance to reflect on their achievements, share experiences, and connect with the wider CCF NSW Women in Civil community.

Gladys Woods, General Manager at Haslin Constructions and one of the Women in Civil program founders, delivered an insightful keynote address. She spoke about the importance of meaningful connections, the people who open doors, and the inspiration and motivation she has drawn upon throughout her professional journey and in pursuing personal sporting achievements.

Long-time Mentor and WesTrac representative Jess Hurst shared insights into her role in the civil construction industry, highlighting client engagement, delivery partnerships, and the value created through her deep knowledge and experience in plant and equipment contracts.

Established in 2017, the CCF NSW Women in Civil Mentoring Program was created to support women in the civil industry seeking guidance and career development. A unique feature of the program is the opportunity for Mentees to gain direct access to experienced business owners and senior leaders who generously commit their time and expertise to support participants professional growth.

A special thank you to our Women in Civil program sponsor, WesTrac.

The companies that joined the 2025 mentoring program: Abergeldie Complex Infrastructure, BMD Group, Cherrie Civil Engineering, Daracon Group, East to West Plant Services, Eather Group, ECORR (ECO Resource Recovery), First Choice Earthworks Pty Ltd, Georgiou Group, Haslin Constructions, Maas Civil Group, Quickway Constructions, Seymour Whyte, SRG Global, WesTrac.
