It’s fair to say anyone recognised at the CCF NSW Earth Awards 2026 as a member for 25 years is probably an enthusiastic member.
Managing Director of Ladex Construction Group, Richard Pottie, is more than that, and we thank him not just for his long-term membership but also the leadership he’s provided CCF NSW.
“Serving as a Board Member has been a highlight,” he says.
That time helping lead CCF NSW is important to him because he says he sees our greatest strength as advocacy.
“CCF is the voice of the civil construction industry and ensures our sector is properly represented,” he says.
“I have always believed regional contractors need a strong voice in shaping the future of our industry.
“CCF provides an important platform for members to give feedback and ensure regional perspectives are considered.
“Over the past 25 years, CCF has consistently delivered clear and practical messages to politicians, government departments, and regulators on issues affecting the civil construction sector,” he says.
Beyond the advocacy, Richard says CCF NSW membership has brought a lot of value in other ways.
“CCF has helped our business stay informed and prepared for industry changes.
“It has been proactive in representing member interests, providing guidance on legislative changes, and helping members navigate increasingly complex compliance requirements,” he says.
“Membership has given me a greater understanding of the challenges facing our industry and the impacts that legislative changes can have on contractors, particularly smaller operators.
“It has also provided valuable industry connections and insights,” he says.
Like many members, he values CCF NSW events for the networking opportunities and recognition they provide.
“I also think of the awards nights that showcase the outstanding projects and people within our industry.
“Seeing members of our team recognised through industry awards for their contribution to civil construction – those achievements have been particularly rewarding,” he says.
“My 25 years with CCF have been both rewarding and valuable.
“I would recommend membership to anyone involved in the civil construction industry and encourage them to get involved and contribute to its future,” he says.
Ladex Construction Group is one of eight members recognised at the CCF NSW Earth Awards 2026 for reaching 25 years of membership.
