CCF NSW Vice President
Kim Liddell became Vice President of the Civil Contractors Federation New South Wales in September 2019, having become a Board Member in 2016, the first female to do so.
Kim is the sole founder and Managing Director of Non Destructive Excavations Australia, a Sydney-based business that became a CCF NSW Member in 2008. NDEA specialises in safely locating underground services and non-destructive vacuum and hydro excavation works. Kim started the business in 2005 with two staff and one vacuum truck, and now oversees 20 staff and a fleet of vehicles and equipment.
In 2016 Kim was the recipient of the CCF NSW's President’s Award, an honour bestowed upon an individual who goes above and beyond in making a significant contribution to the Federation.
Kim’s involvement in the industry extends way beyond running a successful business and serving on the CCF NSW’s Board. She has a passion for empowering women and is Chair of the Women in Civil Working Group, was a 2016 finalist in the Telstra Business Women’s Awards and the following year was inducted into the HerBusiness Businesswomen’s Hall of Fame.
Kim is a driving force behind the CCF NSW’s Women in Civil Program and acts as a Mentor.
"The CCF NSW Women in Civil Program excites me as I believe it will act as a launch pad to making a positive, lasting impact in our industry.
"I am continually inspired and motivated by seeing others grow and shine within my organisation. I find the opportunity to ‘give back’ with organisations such as the Civil Contractors Federation and the Women in Civil Program truly rewarding."
Outside of work, Kim is a dedicated mother of three. She is a passionate stand-up paddleboarder and loves travelling, yoga and meditation.
